Pictures as promised
My dad has been asking where the pictures of the Peak District are. Only he says he doesn't need to see any more pictures of landscapes. He would rather see pictures of people, preferably people he knows. Which . . . I'm guessing is just me, unless Dad has already met the sheep.
My new goat friends, to whom I most certainly am not feeding English candy:
My Lizzie-Bennett-of-the-rocks pose as I try not to laugh:
One of those staircase thingies we had to climb, wherein I inadvertently proposed to someone by slapping my @ss.
Had to toss in a scenery shot. Because really, that was sort of why I was there.

Beautiful!
that can't be castleton! you can see blue sky in the photos. We never saw that on any of our DOE expeditions. :-)
Looks like you guys had fun.
Goats...wet grass...beautiful landscapes...lucky!
Your pictures make me anxious for my own chance to visit.
Nemesis be careful! How could I face your father if you took a fall?!
That's what the Lizzie Bennett picture of you reminded me of. I'm very jealous.
Now I know why they call it the Peak District. It all makes so much more sense now.
Aunt Gardiner was right: nothing CAN compare with the wild and untamed beauty of the peaks! Unless it's the image of you trying to kill innocent goats.
I did, mom!
Amyjane, is that the one where we put on tank tops and rocked out to the Night at the Roxbury soundtrack? Good times . . .
Cici: Exactly.
Oh, saxon, your eyes do not deceive you. Neither does my bright red neck. :-)
Yes, I know, I'm living the dream. Thanks for commenting, lindsay!
Tiffany, you've got to come over--it's so beautiful!
Bwah hah hahah! You and I are pretty much on the same page, Mary. :-)
TMF: yep, it's all coming together
I know, Daltongirl! Don't ask me why they picked those lame molehill shots over at BBC when there were actual gorgeous things they could have been filming!
