"Only in Utah," as my mother would say

A sweet lady just came in and somewhat bashfully asked me if I could print her a copy of this month's Visiting Teaching message.

Best part is, it was about becoming self-reliant.

That's awesome. She probably felt really embarassed when she read it! On a related note, I actually really liked the quotes in this month's message. Way to tell it like it is! Although it required some finessing to deliver to some of the sisters I teach, I thought it was spot on.

There may have been a very good reason - you never know.

My evil side wants you to have asked her "I'm sorry, what's Visiting Teaching?" Since you shouldn't just assume everyone in Utah is LDS. But, like I said, that's kind of evil. :)

I also concur with AmyJane, that this month's message was quite great.

Mixed feelings on this month's message, but that's probably more the circumstances surrounding it's telling. Houses without children are generally not child proof.

At least she still has four more days to get it done!

My printer recently broke and I had to ask my partner to print it for me since one of the ladies we teach doesn't get the Ensign. Maybe her printer broke! ;)

I give her the benefit of the doubt. In a way, she is being self-reliant, she is using resources available to her to accomplish a goal.
