17 weeks

Here you go, here's your picture. I don't think it looks much different from any of my post-Thanksgiving-feast-complete-with-Costco-tire-sized-pumpkin-pie pictures, but there you have it. And I made sure to take it when I had Sunday Nap Hair and a chin zit so as to keep anyone from feeling inferior. I am super thoughtful in that way.

I'm also modeling my new Bella Band in this picture. I ordered one on the Interwebs last week and in the time it took to get here I lost the ability to button and/or zip up any of mah paints. So yeah. Good save there, Bells. (Aw geez, and now I have Jacob Black in my head. Not exactly what I was going for, but I shall be polite and admire his abs for a little bit.)

Speaking of Twilight this totally cracks me up

So I used the bella band a lot during my pregnancy. Now however I use it to keep my son's hands near his side in his swaddle. He has outgrown the miracle blanket but still needs to be swaddled. So, you know, it can really be multifunctional.

Love the bump. I wish I looked like that when I was 17 weeks pregnant. Have you read nightlight, the Harvard Lampoon Twilight parody yet? No one I know has read it and I want to know if it's any good.

I just looked at my pregnancy pics and I was bigger than that at 14 weeks last time. I hate you.

Yeah. That's like . . . nothing. That's what I'd love to look like right now.

And I thought we were friends!

Ana, there's either something wrong with the link or something wrong with me, because I can't get it to open!

Are you sure you're pregnant? Sheesh, I think I looked like that at about 6 weeks. Well done.

arrggghhh - so annoying! I'll try just doing a sloppy copy and paste link like this:
PS - I really don't know why the link won't work - same thing happened when I tried to post a link on another blog yesterday - TWICE even! At least this way you can copy and paste it even if you can't just click on it :)

You make a lovely pregnant women.

LOL about the Jacob Black comment. What is this about Sunday nap hair and such? You look amazing (and p.s., are so teeny tiny)!

Ana, I'd seen that once before but laughed just as hard this time. ("Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh . . . ")

Lady Susan, glad to know the thing will have other uses down the road!

Jen, I haven't. Will have to check it out. Also, that was your THIRD kid. We'll see how well I'm doing then.

Desmama, you would probably have felt better if I'd used the first picture GH took--the hands-on-hips-swaybacked one. Except then you'd also be seeing more of my wrinkly armpit than you ever needed to. So I figured it was better this way!

Bridget, thank you. Am loving reading about your Egypt adventures, btw.

Yankee Girl, thank you! I saw a lady in the library yesterday who made me want to just go ahead and plan to get induced at, oh, 32 weeks or so. She looked so very uncomfortable, and I thought, "Yep. Get ready for that."

Emandtrev, thanks!

ah - good to hear. My fav moments have to be "look at me and my BAZILLION abs" and "Let's go eat some people!!!"

Thank goodness for the nap hair, or you would just look too awesome. I can't believe you're 17 weeks!

A big congrats to you both, but you don't even look pregnant let alone 17 weeks !
