Hang on to your ovaries, people

I'm serious, are you containing them? Because what I'm about to show you makes ME want to go get pregnant, which . . . is really saying something. And then I shake my head like a poodle who has accidentally inhaled chemicals.

Okay, then.

(Scrolling . . . )

I KNOW!!!!

I made most of this hat (Candy Cane by Susan B. Anderson) in November, but then finished it speedy-quick the morning of the Dark Lord's newborn photo session. (A girl from my ward offered to come over and do them for free because she needs newborns for her photography portfolio. And I was like, "Hey, I've got a newborn." Of course, then Christmas happened, so I'm not sure when I'll ever get to see said pictures.)

This is what baby and I did this morning instead of going to church. I did watch Music and the Spoken Word on television though, and put a roast in the crockpot, so I like to think I've still earned some Faithful Mormon Points for the day.

Don't forget about Downton Abbey tonight!

My 20-month old daughter saw the pictures and promptly yelled, "Naked!"...pause, pause, pause,....."Cute baby!"

Observant and concise.

Cute hat, cute baby = (almost) too much cuteness.

I was not containing my ovaries, and now I have a huge mess to clean up.

Darn you, and your Dark Lord.

Ahhh!! You were right. Those pictures would make a baby lover out of anyone.

Darling picture, great photos, roast in the oven--it sounds like a perfect morning.

Adorable. If I didn't have a cute naked baby of my own, I'd totally want one. Now I just want a hat.

Thanks for the "heads up" on Downton Abbey! I watched the first one online, then the 2nd one as it aired last night. Loving it so far!

That is a cute baby. Nice work with the warning, because if my ovaries hadn't been securely contained, we'd have a problem over here.

Your kid is ridiculous amounts of cute.

Now, onto Downton Abbey. I just watched episode #2 and am VERY troubled by the scene with Mary and Guy From Turkey. What the?! I feel like she kind of hand no choice - someone you know shows up in your room in the middle of the night, and you've never even kissed anyone. My husband disagrees and said she could have screamed. Who knows if anyone would have heard her and how it would have looked (like he said), right? I leave it to you, O Librarian, to resolve our dispute! Is she Poor Mary, or Stupid Mary?

He is adorable! I want to squeeze him...I might possibly be getting baby hungry!

So, so darling. I love his little expressions!

Claire, I'd been thinking about the Poor Mary vs. Stupid Mary thing myself. And although I agree that it wasn't her idea and Turkish Weakheart totally manipulated her, I then wondered what would have happened if, say, the other guy had shown up in her room (the British one she wasn't into). I think she would have found a way to make him leave.

The even bigger question, though: Was it really a heart attack . . . or was it MURDER . . . and if so, who did it??

Ok... LOVING the pics! He is cute cute cute!!! Can't have more kids, but if I could those pictures even make me tempted to want to have another.

Cute.

But nope. Don't want to get pregnant.

And there is no such thing as too much cute.

You were right, if I didn't already have a baby in diapers, I'd be making another one right now. :) Terribly cute.
