21 Day Challenge, Day 11: Wear a skirt

This one could have been a coaster, since I wear skirts nonstop during the summer--they are so cool and breezy! It is like wearing secret shorts to work but better!

I decided though in the spirit of the challenge to try something different, and now that I have become a total Bad-A Rule-Breaker I paired this cheap graphic tee with a very nice skirt. And I got two compliments at work, so go me!

Old Navy tee, DownEast tank, Ann Taylor skirt

Does anybody else love the part where my legs are exposed all summer (see above re: skirts) and yet they never, never, never catch any color? Or maybe it's just me who loves that the most.

I have that same problem! I actually believe my legs completely lack any melanin whatsoever. They are unable to be anything other than pasty death white.

That outfit is adorable, by the way. You are inspiring me to be more bold in my wardrobe!

This is probably my favorite of yours so far. Way to branch out! You look darling.

My legs = pasty white all the time, too. Not just you. I blame my Scandanavian heritage.

Thanks, Liz! Pasty-legged women unite!

Aw, thanks Desmama!

Kayla, I am going to frame that compliment, yes I am.

Cinderella, I blame the English. But then I immediately forgive them and thank them for all the good things: BBC, Jane Austen, Cadbury, chocolate chip shortbread, my library degree, Rupert Penry-Jones, etc.

My legs also stay pasty white no matter how much sun exposure they get. I remember sitting in church one Sunday (back in high school probably) and comparing legs with my sisters who decidedly DO NOT have that problem and saying, "it's like we're not even related!"
