21 Day Challenge, Day 6: Unconventional

Hah! TWO unconventional things for me today. Or maybe three--does a blurry indoor picture count when everyone else's look so nice? I wore my Uganda necklace as a bracelet and used a scarf to make a belt/sash thingie.

Dress from Banana Republic, black tank from Shade

Even though it's hot outside and I hate wearing so many layers, I am having to wear a lot more undershirts and tanks now because The Dark Lord considers me his own personal jungle gym. The neckline of my shirt is his preferred hand-hold for hoisting himself up, so if I'm not careful he can yank the thing down to my belly button. I choose to save people from that sight.

You are welcome, Universe!

On the topic of mother-gyms. My boy (now 4) liked to use the center panel of my bra as a anchor so he could lean out and reach things really far away.
It's sad when babies grow up and all that but thanks be to goodness I don't have to put up with that anymore.

I am also my boy's personal jungle gym. At home it is great. In public it is very difficult to not flash everybody.

Look at you, all unconventional-y!

I swear I dress modestly but it is hard to get through a church meeting without flashing somebody, with my two kids climbing all over me. Your dress looks awesome (and flash-proof) and I am impressed with your results during this challenge so far!

I like that idea of wearing the necklace as a bracelet. Very nice touch.
