Update

First off, I heard back from the shuttle company and they sacked the driver. Yay for social change, even if I do feel guilty. And I just remembered that the driver knows where I live. Lucky for me I don't live there anymore, so it will be my roommates who get set on fire while they're asleep one night. Uh. . . maybe I'd better call them and give a quick heads-up.

Also I'm finally packed and readyish to go. I'm sure I'll have lots of stories by the time I write next, since I will be dealing with airplanes, airports, and the people who frequent them. Please keep your fingers crossed for me that I won't get squished next to a huge hairy snorer, and that I won't get drugged and kidnapped and sold into white slavery, okay? I just don't think any of that would agree with me.

Talk to you soon!

I can't wait until you are here. I know you will technically not be "here," but you'll be closer to here. I will send all my positive thoughts, especially while you are flying over me. Well, off to see Pride and Prejudice (my review will be posted within one day)

Good job on you for getting the bum sacked.

Best of luck on your flight.

On the other hand, a slave diary or a huge hairy snorer story would make for really great posts!

I miss you already! Hopefully Sakhmet is purchasing tickets for us (you did agree to pay my way, didn't you, Sakh?) as I write, and we'll be there soon.

I'm proud of you for getting him fired, really. In fact, I'm regretting never sending the letter that I should have sent UPS when I caught their mail carrier lying about attempted drop-offs to my house (when I am in my living room all day long and when I order pizza and when the pizza guy delivers the pizza at 6:15 p.m., DON'T try to claim that you tried to deliver the package at 6:10 p.m. but no one was home, because I know where I was at 6:10 p.m., and if a pizza guy can find the door bell, a UPS delivery person should know how to do it, too). Some people deserve to lose their jobs.

Some people, however, don't deserve to lose their Hornblower. I opened my drawer yesterday and found it in there and started screaming at the recognition of what a horrible friend I am. Do you want me to mail it to you or do you want me to babysit it?

Wait, what? How do you have my Horatio, Cicada? I thought I gave them all to SM & SD!

Cicada said... [reply]

I swear to you that I have the last two episodes. Can I bring them to SM and SD for safe-keeping?

And HOLY CRAP the verification word is long this time!

Nemesis said... [reply]

That is so weird, because I asked them what happened to the last two episodes the last time I was over and SD said, "I don't know, I think SM lent them to someone or something."

Yes, please do restore them to their babysitters if you get the chance!
