I just heard this song by Regina Spektor a few weeks ago and am now ridiculously in love with it.
I'm trying to finish writing a personal essay for that Emerging Leaders application. Personal essays suck. But this song is helping, because I'm pretty much listening to it on repeat. And I'm possibly doing a twitchy sort of shoulder dance as I type.
Because I'm cool like that.
Also someone told me that this song was on Grey's Anatomy, which, yeah, of course it was. They always have the best songs. So now I also have McDreamy in my head while I listen. It's win-win, really.

Oooh! I LOVE that song. I heard it on iTunes and downloaded the whole album. The rest of the album is a little more strange, but still very fun to listen to.
Good luck with the personal essay.
Are you supposed to write about what makes YOU are an emerging leader (sounds like a term from fly fishing), or about your skills for identifying and encouraging said leaders?
Oh Regina.... You have your whole Colin Firth thing...so am I allowed to swoon over her? She makes me want to laugh, jump around, collapse in bed and cry all at the same time. *sigh*
I love this song... and this is the first I've heard it. What's its name??
Yeah - don't know if the song will grow on me, but the video was sure fun. Love the snow angels. :)
Fidelity is the name, and the rest of the album? Amazing, probably the best album of 2006. Not kidding. I love Regina.
What do YOU want a sewing machine for? I think you're copying me.
AzĂșcar is right, the album is fantastic.
Was the song all the motivation you needed? Success?
I love this song, even though it totally gets stuck in my head. I first heard it last fall or winter. It was even on VH1's video countdown for a while. Too bad no one ever played it on the radio.
I finally got the application sent in this morning. Now I can get back to my regularly scheduled work . . .
