Yeah, it's pretty much a habit now

Today I completed my second day in a row of working out at my community rec center. Am sure I will be a hardbody in no time.

And if I were at all feeling unmotivated about gyming it up today, the sight of my tummy pooching out over the waistband of my skirt and the sensation of my ab fat jiggling around independent of my body as I walked got all the motivated feelings right back where they belonged.

I shall now reward myself for such hard work by walking over and observing the 20 ducklings that live in the complex and possibly trying to smuggle a couple of them back into the apartment so that I may hold them to my face and coo at them.

Speaking of ducklings, everyone needs to watch this video while squealing loudly enough to break glass. It is required.

I know, right? So, so very attractive. The jiggling ab fat thing might have just been in my head but whatever, it's time to get that sorted.

Ok, I was totally feeling the belly fat today. Hate it. (The monthly visitor could have something to do with it. Hate that too.) Maybe we should invent something that gives us great abs with no effort.....

That duck thing is the cutest thing I've seen in a LONG time. There was much happy ahhh-ing at my place.

"Mild-mannered loan officer" was my favorite line. It must have been casual Friday at the bank.

That is just preciousness. Speaking of the precii, they were here the other day and Jenny assured me that you and I were friends first, and she and I second. We're all clear as to how things stand. Anyhow, good times were had; Savannah finally talks to me again, and Ethan and Patrick only duked it out twice.

That's the cutest thing I've seen since I was a police officer in Boston in the 1930s and lead a duck (I called her Mrs. Mallard) with her babies (I called them Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack, and Quack) from the St. Charles River to Boston Public Garden. I hope the river in that video you showed has swan boats, or those ducks are going to starve.

Goddessdivine, I am all for your idea. When I got back from the gym I did some of the sit-ups that Britney Spears taught Ellen Degeneres on her show like 5 years ago. About 10 in I collapsed and crawled to the kitchen to eat peanut butter out of the jar.

Giggles, I know, right? So, so cute. One might wonder how there was so much video coverage during the event, but I guess if he was out there early in the morning and then someone called the news then they could have been there in time to catch it all with their multiple cameras.

STM, I know. Like Clark Kent. And as opposed to all the other selfish and criminally irresponsible bankers we know to be out there. "This one saves ducklings, guys!"

Amyjane, I'm trying really, really hard to imagine Ethan trying to take on Patrick. That fight couldn't have lasted long. Although, he does have a go at the slightly-bigger Savvy quite regularly, so maybe he's learned to be a scrapper.

Daltongirl, I'm going to tell myself that they're going to be okay. Swan boats or no.

Indeed, Amandastretch. In. Deed.

hmm, maybe the ladder would have come in handy 9 baby ducks sooner...

That melted my face right off.

Right. Off.

I hear ya with the fat... got that issue myself! Almost couldn't button my jeans! In this economy that does not mean new clothes, it means "you better figure out a way QUICK to make them button!"

The ducks were precious!
