Let's do this thing.

My face is not included because in addition to being fat, it was bright red from working over a steaming cauldron of Pioneer Woman's Delicious, Creamy Mashed Potatoes. Yes, those would be the mashed potatoes that involve sticks of butter and cream cheese and fresh hot sin and possibly full-on whipping cream because I didn't have any half-and-half in my house. I am sorry for anyone who will not be eating them tomorrow for lo, they are amazing.

Later this afternoon I'll be getting another Pioneer Woman recipe going--it's the one that you SAY is sweet potatoes but is really a deconstructed pie that you get to eat with your dinner while people just think you're making good choices.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! What are you bringing to your feasts?

Holy Cow! You look like you could pop any moment! ;-) Had to throw that in. Turns out I did make that gaffe before.

Enjoy your sinful food.

Yeah, so do not care about the "about to pop" comments, since I'm pretty sure I've said it about myself too. :-) It was great to see you on Friday!!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope the baby waits until after dinner at least so you can enjoy the food. Those mashed potatoes sound so good. But sorry, I hate yams, no matter what you put on them.

You'll have to start calling him 'He who must not wait around any longer'.

Hope all is well and that the birth is smooth sailing.

Ouch! How is your back holding up?

I made a cocoa cake with milk chocolate frosting for my friend's cousin's birthday which we celebrated on Thanksgiving.

Love hearing indulgent food equated to sin! Yum!

I was in charge of desserts for my refugee Thanksgiving (i.e. random collection of friends who have no family to spend the day with), and I couldn't decide on one, so I brought three. Chocolate pumpkin tart, butterscotch no bakes, and gluten free brownies. It was good times.

Happy Thanksgiving!

You need to Skype me quick so I can kiss that little babie via the computer screen! My heart can hardly wait much longer!

I love your first line. That pretty much sums it up.

And wow. Those PW mashed potatoes look incredible. I think I gained about 20 pounds just reading the instructions. Yum! I'm definitely going to try that recipe!
