I love everyone

For the last week I've been stricken down with a cold. I hadn't realized what a toll this cold had taken on me until I suddenly started feeling better yesterday afternoon at work. At first I didn't know what was happening and thought that maybe someone had put crack in my water. Because suddenly I was like this.

"Hi! How are you! Oh my gosh that is SUCH a great library question! And hey look at you with your funny joke, Yay for jokes! AND HEY ISN'T MY DESK PRETTY! AND HEY ISN'T THAT LITTLE GIRL OVER THERE PRETTY TOO ONLY YOU HAD BETTER PUT HER SHOES AND SOCKS BACK ON HER RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THAT'S SICK THANK YOU! AND WOW! I GET TO TAKE ALL THE WITHDRAWN MARTHA STEWART MAGAZINES HOME WITH ME. FREE MAGAZINES! WOOO-HOOOOOO!!!"

Seriously. If there are drugs that can do that, I want some. Last night I went to the grocery store and started buying fresh foods again. Also amazing, since I'd been eating brownies and fish sticks all week and Not. Even. Caring.

In honor of my feeling better, here are some of the pics I took a few days ago:

Main Street

The LDS Tabernacle, which is where they hold larger meetings and special events. You can't see it but there was a girl getting her bridal photos taken on the grounds. I swear you can't swing a cat around here without hitting some 14-yr-old who's getting her bridals taken.

This is the fun little theatre that I like.

Um, not exactly sure what this building is. Desmama?

The Logan LDS Temple, which is on a high hill with a great view of the valley. My sister tells me they will have beautiful tulips up here soon, so I'll be checking that out once I come down from the crack water.

I wish that I'd gotten YOUR sickness and could have had cool drugs. I just puked up my Pepto Bismol. I thought it was supposed to prevent puking. Stupid.

Plus, if you don't puke it up, Pepto Bismol turns your poop black. And that can be scary. I bet crack doesn't do anything like that to your poop.

That first picture was taken very close to the cool bookstore where I picked up a hard-to-find Newbery for my collection (which will go to you, Nemesis, when I leave this mortal coil). This is why Logan will always hold a special place in my heart.

The temple is not as pretty as Manti--inside especially, because the 70s barfed all over the inside of that temple, sadly.

Books of Yesterday--very cool place indeed.

Um, I think that building is the county administration building. They just redid the facade a few years ago and that's the original color. It used to be white brick.

I get to come to Logan twice in the next few weeks for work, and because of your beautiful pictures and your crack-water-induced euphoria, I am actually looking forward to it, now. Maybe I'll stop by the Bluebird. And that bookstore, because, really, who can resist?

Now, as I said in the previous entry, you have a great eye for photography. Please keep it up.

So I have some Ambien that can give you some pretty rad hallucinations, but nothing for the daytime.

Just as long as you're not eating brownies and fishsticks together.

Mmmm, the Bluebird.

Uh, it's the County Courthouse. Sorry 'bout that. DesDad corrected me.

What's the Bluebird? :)

So I'm shooting a wedding in Logan next month. Sorry. But I am happy to report that the bride is not 14. And I'm excited to shoot a wedding in Logan.

During our few trip to Idaho Theric and I would drive through Logan. We have always wanted to stop and eat at the Bluebird, but somehow never managed it. If you ever go you must tell me how it is, perhaps your review will get me to come and visit you. ;)
