I'm totally jealous of your birthday wishes.
The Mikasa link doesn't work. Also, I can't help being filled with pride and joy each time you come up with such a wonderful list. I am so glad I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY to teach you such skills.
This is posting of birthday lists is shameless. Shameless!
Hey Dad, I could just do what I do every year and say, "I dunno, what about cash?"
This seemed more personal, somehow. And this way if anyone else thinks of anything good I can add it to the list.
Thanks for the heads-up Jen, I've fixed the link. You know, because I'm totally expecting some of that this year.
Also, you just said "had the opportunity to." We are no longer sisters.
Link on the sidebar still no worky. Guess you'll be getting paperware instead of china. =(
Don't we all need a good snog? At least you can live vicariously through Bella and Edward.
What happened to "Brown sofa and some cats"?
Before, thank you. Turns out I only fixed it in the post, because I'm smart like that. Now the sidebar should be working too.
Tusk, I'm holding out on those ones until my 30th.
Oh boy. Now the pressure. Is it respectable to finish Daltongirl's bday present before I start on yours?
When posting a wishlist on your blog for random blog stalkers to view, it also helps to have an existing Amazon wishlist so that said RBS's may have to opportunity to give you a gift without you having to reveal your actual address to the scary RBS's.
Just a thought.
OMG, I just used one of the forbidden phrases without even realizing it! I should be banned. :0(
Lilcis, that's a really good idea. Only I think I would feel like I was hitting up RBSs for gifts when I'm really not.
Hmmm, must think more about this.
Cicada, you know you don't need to make me anything! A smile and a big sloppy kiss will be enough.
Alright lilcis, I caved. If I become an avaricious greedy girl like my sister Jenny I'm totally blaming you.
Wow, that's so . . . greedy of you!
Just kidding! And trust me, the Amazon wish list is such a good investment. In yourself!
I am not greedy. I am the most grateful and enthusiastic person I know when it comes to being the recipient of a gift. I bet people love giving me stuff just because they know it will get a warm reception. And you know I was joking about the phrase, right?
Is Godiva chocolate imported?
Oh, just askin' because I saw a really pretty Godiva Chocolate: 36 piece Signature Truffle Assortment (24.75 oz). listed on another friend's wishlist.
I love wishlists.
Sure, Wishlists are great if you have the correct card to pay for stuff. :( Which I do not.
~~Tusk
Jimmy, I just looked it up and Godiva is Belgian in origins. So I think it definitely counts as imported! That is such a good idea. Must go put chocolate on the list.
Also specialty cheeses . . . wonder how well those ship . . .
Tickets for Greece? The place? or is that tickets for Sandy and Danny?
Great list by the way, just had my birthday, but no point in posting a lits, as no one I know reads the rubbish I write.....I hope!
Julie, hi! If this is NHS Julie then it's great to hear from you. And I definitely meant tickets to the place. That was the one trip that fell completely through while I was in the UK and I'm still a bit sad about it. Also I'm just stir-crazy for a nice long beach vacation.
The Mikasa link works now.
mom
Yes this is NHS Julie. Greece is a wonderful place, been to somewhere near Athens (of course also went to Athens for all the culture and to run round the Olympic stadium).
Hope you get lots of your birthday list!
