Such a darling, precious little boy. I can't tell you how happy and excited I am for you. I've been sorely tempted to trot on down there just for a quick visit. You're probably glad I haven't, though. Yet. Enjoy this brand new piece of heaven in your home.

Your absentee mother should be too ashamed to even take up space on your blog. But she will be there soon and will make it all up to you. Filet mignon every night, lots of home baked goods, spa gift cards, gourmet take out chocolate specialties, magazines galore, izzie drinks, thai take out, whatever you want.
I had someone invite me to her birth and it ended up with forceps and stiches--ouch! Hope you recover quickly. He's precious.
PS-watch out for the Percocet--narcotics can make you constipated and you really don't want that right now. If you get in trouble, take some milk of magnesia and it loosens everything up :)

A perfect date of birth - Henry and I are practically twins. Except that he's a boy and I'm 32 years older.

I'm sure this is slight consolation, but because he came out backwards, his face was saved a day of laboring and behold he is lovely. I guess we wouldn't want to see his bruised baby backside. Although, I bet that end of him would be cute too.
