It sounds too much like my birth story in the sense that I'm trying not to have horrific pushing/stitching flashbacks, but congrats!!!!!

He's perfect! And so is his name. Congratulations!

Hey, can you delete my last post after you've read it? I accidentally posted with my email address as my name and can't change that. I'd like not to leave it out where spammers can find it. Sorry to be a flake all over your beautiful post. :) You can delete this one too if you want.

abby said... [reply]

Congratulations! He's a big beautiful baby no wonder forceps were needed.

mj said... [reply]

Congratulations, he is beautiful! Keep those sitz baths nice and hot.

Scully said... [reply]

Congratulations! And I hope you are recovering nicely.

Desmama said... [reply]

Such a darling, precious little boy. I can't tell you how happy and excited I am for you. I've been sorely tempted to trot on down there just for a quick visit. You're probably glad I haven't, though. Yet. Enjoy this brand new piece of heaven in your home.

Tonya said... [reply]

You deserve a trophy! Or something much more amazing for you are amazing! Congrats!

Katie E. said... [reply]

My first thought was "PRECIOUS!" Then I felt like you. Congrats on your very own Precious and on surviving his delivery.

Kristi said... [reply]

Posterior = ouchy, drawn-out transition labor. I found this out trying to do hypnobirthing with #2. Yay for percocet and dermaplast. :)

He's a cutie. Congratulations!

alex said... [reply]

Congratulations! He's adorable!

Mad Hadder said... [reply]

You're so in the "Let-me-tell-you-MY-birthing-story!" Club now!!! Did you order the Designer Upgrade model??? You got it!

Valli said... [reply]

He's beautiful Nem.
That posterier thing sucks. Sorry.

April said... [reply]

Yay yay yay! Congratulations! He's so handsomely adorable!

Jenny said... [reply]

Thank you for giving me the most adorable nephew ever!!

You are so tough and already are such a great mommy. Way to be awesome!

Your absentee mother should be too ashamed to even take up space on your blog. But she will be there soon and will make it all up to you. Filet mignon every night, lots of home baked goods, spa gift cards, gourmet take out chocolate specialties, magazines galore, izzie drinks, thai take out, whatever you want.

FoxyJ said... [reply]

I had someone invite me to her birth and it ended up with forceps and stiches--ouch! Hope you recover quickly. He's precious.

PS-watch out for the Percocet--narcotics can make you constipated and you really don't want that right now. If you get in trouble, take some milk of magnesia and it loosens everything up :)

H.O.O.R.A.Y!

He's lovely.

Bridget said... [reply]

Congratulations!

Kiersten said... [reply]

He is beautiful, and so is his name (and by that I mean his non-Harry Potter-inspired name, of course). Thank you for not naming him something horrible like Caeydynne (I mean, you are living in Utah County now...). Best wishes on your recovery!

AmyJane said... [reply]

He's so, so precious. I cannot wait to see him in person!
It's a good thing I have Jen as my go-between--I got live action updates on this boy's arrival. Call when you're up to it!

Z. Marie said... [reply]

Oh, how wonderful that he's arrived all safe and sound! I hope you're able to recover quickly.

MJ said... [reply]

Congrats! He's a beautiful toddler!! Just like my youngest!!

Marie said... [reply]

Congratulations to all--he's absolutely beautiful!

Katie said... [reply]

Congratulations! Wishing you a nice recovery.

CONGRATS! I've been checking in...
A perfect date of birth - Henry and I are practically twins. Except that he's a boy and I'm 32 years older.

Elsha said... [reply]

Congratulations! He is beautiful! Sorry about the rough delivery, hopefully the recovery is quick! (Here is where I cannot emphasize enough that miralax is your friend. Seriously. Very. Best. Friend.)

Also, love the name! My son's middle name is Henry so I'm partial:)

AmandaStretch said... [reply]

Congratulations!!

Spitfire said... [reply]

Pretty baby. Hang in there, let me know if you need anything- you are one of the toughest chics I know!

heidikins said... [reply]

Hope you're both recovering well.

Yay to baby! Boo to bottom falling out!!

Don't forget to remind him of this every day for the rest of his life.

Jillian said... [reply]

What a beautiful baby boy!!! Congratulations!

Brittney said... [reply]

Congratulations, and welcome tiny dark lord!! Sounds rough- but I bet the bliss more than makes up for it :)

CanNOT wait to hear your snarky stories about motherhood...just wait 'til the playgroup mommies start thinking that because you're a mom you want to know every detail about their child's dirty diapers, it's sweet. Because who can get enough poop talk in life?

Janet said... [reply]

Congratulations, he's a very handsome young man :)

Saxon said... [reply]

congratulations!

Courtney said... [reply]

Congrats! Can't wait to meet him.

Lady Susan said... [reply]

I was so excited to read this! Yeah! Congratulations! Aren't you so glad not to be pregnant anymore? ;)

Beautiful baby boy!

Breanne said... [reply]

That sounds insane but he is SO beautiful!

singin' in the rain said... [reply]

Heavens, I'm in pain just thinking about this. Your son is gorgeous, truly so so handsome. I love you and hope you are recovering well. Henry is dreamy.

Amber said... [reply]

I'm also de-lurking to say congratulations and wishes for a speedy recovery from the pushing/stitches. He is beautiful!

Maleen said... [reply]

I'm sure this is slight consolation, but because he came out backwards, his face was saved a day of laboring and behold he is lovely. I guess we wouldn't want to see his bruised baby backside. Although, I bet that end of him would be cute too.

Congratulations.

Amber said... [reply]

Congratulations! He's beautiful.

momof8 said... [reply]

He's adorable! Congrats to you all! (And, you have my sympathy. My first one came posterior also. And had a skull fracture. Ouch. Transfusion creeped me out. But sooooo worth it! Henry really is darling!)

Girassol said... [reply]

Most excellent news! Henry is beautiful and I think it's a perfect name. Congrats to the whole Nemesis/GH family!

Rynell said... [reply]

Congratulations! You grew a person. And a cute one at that.

Nells-Bells said... [reply]

he is absolutely beautiful!

Mrs. Clark said... [reply]

Congratulations! Keep up the breastfeeding--seriously, it takes about 6 weeks to get used to it; then you will be so glad you did it!

Audra said... [reply]

Ok... first off... so sorry for the sucky labor. Seriously... that SUCKS!

Second off... MY EUGENE IS A MOM! EEEEEEEEEK!

Third off... sorry so late seeing this as I have been crazy in the head.

Fourth and most important... HE IS PERFECT! Seriously one of the prettiest babies I have ever seen and you know I would tell you if I thought he was ugly! I would make some horrible joke! But seriously... soooo cute! And I love the name Henry!
