Text exchange with husband who is at Comic-Con
Me: Just mopped the kitchen and vacuumed the carpet. No way could you be having more fun than me!
Him: I'm in the Twilight panel. So think again.
The man has a fair point, but I bet the building he's in has air conditioning. Our house doesn't. So BOOM. In your face, nerd!
The reason he is at this moment watching exclusive footage from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn--Part 2 (holy cow that was a mouthful) is because he needed to snag a spot in that room for all the other stuff that he does want to see. Except I bet with all the women in attendance it probably smells better in there now than it will later. Some of those costumes people show up in don't really breathe, you know?

It's like Education Week - you have to sit through "Depression 101" to have a spot to see someone cool.
Comic Con has to be some of the best people watching ever.
every year I think "hey, I should go to that!" and then promptly forget about it until the follow year. Maybe this year I'll actually put it in my calendar. I would love to be at some of those TV show and movie panels.

Heh. He said he just expected to sit there and be all, "Whatever," but all the fans in the room were so excited that it kind of rubbed off on him. We'll see if he comes home wearing a "Team Jacob" t-shirt.

You're right. Although with all of the girls who show up wearing "less is more" costumes, I'm kind of hoping he doesn't watch TOO closely. ;-)
Lilcis, you should do it! Getting tickets is this crazy process, but how fun would it be if we were both there at the same time?
